Season Two: Dream's Ultimatum

Previous || Table of Contents || Next

Tubbo doesn't want to go to war so soon after just rebuilding L'manberg back up again. They aren't prepared, especially when Techno isn't around to give them gear like last time. Of course he doesn't want to exile Tommy, but this seems like it's the best option at this point in time.

Tommy doesn't want to be exiled. He's already been exiled before from L'manberg by Schlatt. If Tubbo went ahead with this, he'd be following in Schlatt's footsteps.

The other cabinet members convince Tubbo that war is the best option, that they whole-heartedly are ready to fight Dream. They've faced war before, especially with much worse. They can do it again.

Tubbo makes the point that if they're going to war because he can't be the next Schlatt, then Tommy can't be the next Wilbur.

This is a drawing of Tommy and Tubbo from the waist up. Tommy is angry, looking at Tubbo and seemingly accusing him of something. Tubbo is just as angry, looking like he's trying to tell Tommy something and he's just not listening. Above them is the silhouette of Wilbur and Schlatt, respectively, each with a sinister grin on their faces. The background is a bright, angry red.Art by @kawaii-rookie on Tumblr

The Decision

December 4th, 2020

The day comes to give Dream their decision on Tommy's exile. They meet atop the obsidian wall, Dream facing Tubbo with the his cabinet behind him.

"Dream, I have come to the decision that will be best for the nation, the most logical thing to do... For Tommy to be exiled from L'manberg." - Tubbo

Of course, the others are upset. Especially since they thought that they were all on the same page in regards to the decision.

"War is gonna bring destruction, terror! You guys are thinking emotionally, irrationally!...Be quiet! You've undermined my authority from the get go! You definitely do not have the best interests for this nation at heart! We can't sacrifice everything for the music discs."

"Tubbo, Tubbo, but, what? From, from the beginning, be, before L'manberg--"

"THE DISCS DON'T MATTER, TOMMY! How can you not see that?!?!"

Tubbo orders Dream to remove Tommy from the premises. Dream happily obliges, gathering Tommy and Ghostbur into a boat and taking them to a place that "no one has ever touched." They land at a completely uninhabited part of the server. Dream orders Tommy to empty his pockets. This is different than his previous exile. Tommy is not allowed to see anyone at all, and he must start completely fresh.

This is a drawing of a forest landscape. In the foreground is a river. In the background, a set of pine trees. In the center of the river is a rowboat. Tommy sits at the oars, steering the boat. Ghostbur floats behind Tommy in the boat, one hand on his shoulder for support as he looks nervous. In the first line of trees, there are two figures hurriedly fleeing farther into the forest. One looks like Tommy, the other Wilbur, but it's unclear as we can't see their faces and both figures wear large dark blue coats. Wilbur has an arrow in his shoulder, and his other arm is draped over Tommy in support. Tommy carries Wilbur's weight as they're fleeing. The drawing overall has a moody and overcast complexion.Artist currently unknown
