It's incredibly difficult to accurately tell you what happened next in Tommy's story without giving you some context as to what was going on outside of the story. Tommy went from streaming once or twice a week to every single day while in exile. Each of his stream titles were very short, only one word, and focused around themes of loneliness and depression. This went on for two weeks. Every. Day.
Personally, I have no idea how Tommy accurately and respectfully managed to portray a victim of abuse to the point where much of his audience during this time had to sit these weeks out since his streams were too similar to their own lives, and a few began to get worried for Tommy's mental health and physical wellbeing.
There was also the real possibility that Tommy could lose his last canonical life while in exile, and every stream was looking like it was going to be his last. If that happened, he would stop streaming on the SMP for good like Wilbur, as Tommy was always mentioning how he wanted more time to focus on Youtube and his schoolwork. This would have been the perfect out.
So, if this is a topic that makes you uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to skip this section. While not all streams, fanart, and fanworks from this time period deals with Tommy in exile, the overall mood of the fandom was very low, and I understand if you'd rather not consume any content surrounding this topic. There will be a short segment at the beginning of the next section that will breifly recap all of the important info.
