Season One: The Manburg Festival, or The Red Festival

A screenshot of the Manburg podium. The cobblestone base still remains, but there is now a dark black S in the middle of it. The wooden frame has been replaced by dark black bricks and orange magma blocks. There is a throne on the center of the stage with white horns sticking out from it.

Everyone comes and they play carnival games like dunk tank and boxing. Techno spends his time talking with others and asking for "state secrets." Fundy has also rebuilt the stage to reflect the new aesthetic of the Manburg flag.

Tommy and Wilbur end up sneaking in and watching from the sidelines. Tubbo sneaks off to talk to them and see that they came after all.

Schlatt calls everyone back to the main square for a concluding speech.

Schlatt gives the microphone to Tubbo who gives his own concluding speech. He says "Let the festival begin," Wilbur's trigger to go press the button. Wilbur prepares to jump off the roof he was hidden on to go press it.

However, Schlatt stops Tubbo and, with Quackity's help, traps Tubbo in left over material from the L'manberg walls. Wilbur stops himself from looking for the button since Tubbo can no longer leave the stage. This wasn't part of the plan!

Schlatt reveals that he knows all about Tubbo and his escapades into Pogtopia, that he was a spy for the other side all this time. Tubbo is a traitor to Manburg!

He calls Technoblade up to the stage to execute Tubbo.

Tubbo starts to panic. Wilbur whispers to him via chat that it will be okay. Techno wouldn't hurt Tubbo.

Tommy wants to intervene, but he's scared that he might make things worse if he jumps down too early. He has trust that Techno will do the right thing.

Techno doesn't want to pull the trigger. He doesn't want to kill Tubbo. However, he doesn't know everyone's allegiances in the audience. They could all be frothing at the mouth at Tubbo being called a traitor and wanting to see him executed for it. If Techno doesn't do something soon, they might storm the stage and then they'd all be in trouble.

Tubbo is executed via fireworks launcher. He loses his second life. Schlatt and Quackity are hit in the crossfire and die (noncanonically). Techno, in a frenzy, starts to execute the audience members, too (noncanonically).

Tommy is distraut that Techno would ever choose to kill Tubbo and enderpearls onto stage. The audience freaks out that Tommy is there and tries to chase him back out, but Tommy doesn't care at that moment. He takes a few swings at Techno in anger before realizing that a large majority of people are chasing after him. He runs out of Manburg.

In the chaos, Wilbur sneaks off to press the button. However, he can't find it. He returns to Pogtopia, defeated.

Tubbo and Niki officially join Pogtopia.

Tommy, angry at Techno for choosing to execute Tubbo, agrees to fight in a stone pit to settle their differences after being egged on by Wilbur. Techno's only defense was that he was peer pressured and if he didn't, he would have gotten jumped. Tommy loses the fist fight and can’t discuss this again, at least with Techno.

“You see, Tommy, you’re using words when the universal language is violence. And we’ve spoken that language. In the pit. Onto a new day, a new plot, to destroy L’manburg.” - Techno

Wilbur officially lets Techno into his plan as to how he's going to destroy Manburg with TNT. Techno reciprocates by revealing he has beasts of mass destruction that this server has never seen before.

Tommy realizes that he can't count on Wilbur or Techno. He only has Niki and Tubbo.
