Tommy gets into a pet war battle after Sapnap kills his pet cow, Henry. Tommy burns down Sapnap's wooden Eiffel Tower in response. Dream gives Tommy Sapnap's pet fish, and Sapnap wants it back.
Sapnap, Punz, Bad, and Skeppy go to Pogtopia to get it back. Tommy teams up with Dream and Techno to defend it in the Battle of the Lake.
"I have something that you'll never have...I have the Blade." - Tommy, which Techno joined the server a second after
Due to having the two best fighters on the server on his side, Tommy wins.
Schlatt is becoming increasingly unstable as time grows on. He is clearly in poor health and not many people want to associate with him anymore. His muscles are atrophing and his cough is getting worse. After Schlatt refuses to listen to Quackity again, he begins to contemplate leaving Schlatt.
The Badlands form with Bad, Skeppy, Sam and Antfrost on account of their disagreement with Schlatt killing cats.
Tommy gets one of his discs back after a long trade between other members of the server.
Quackity finally has enough with Schlatt. When Schlatt pressures Quackity to tear down the White House with him, insulting Quackity all the while, Quackity ends up killing Schlatt and taking his second life. Quackity realizes that he messed up and runs off into the woods only to find Tommy there. Quackity joins Pogtopia officially.
When Wilbur finds out Quackity has joined, he's estatic. He wants to show both Tommy and Quackity what his plans have amounted to. They head back to Manburg and sneak their way to the main square. Under the stage is Wilbur's button room, a small stone room covered in signs with the L'manberg anthem written indesriminately on them. He reveals that the whole town is now sitting on top of TNT, and with one press of the button, it will explode.
Tommy and Quackity manage to talk Wilbur down from pressing the button, but Wilbur gives them an ultimatum. If they don't do anything about Schlatt in the next two weeks, he's going to press the button.
Fundy, in the meantime, breaks into Pogtopia to place buttons on every surface possible. Since most Pogtopians didn't know it was Fundy who put them there, some think it was Wilbur, becoming mad in his efforts to push the button.
Tommy wants to end the Pet War once and for all. He meets with Sapnap and hands him his fish back. Sapnap releases the fish into the ocean on the pretense that this is a treaty and that the Pet Wars are over for good.
Quackity comes up with a plan. He goes back to Schlatt and asks him to sign a contract to build a hotel in Manburg. However, in the contract, Quackity included a line that states that should Schlatt sign the document, then all of his power would transfer over to Quackity immediately and Schlatt would no longer be in office.
Schlatt sees through Quackity's attempt and also tells him that he know's the country is rigged with TNT. In fact, he moved all the TNT over to Pogtopia.
Quackity runs back to Pogtopia, hoping that none of the buttons will set it off. They don't. Schlatt was bluffing.
Tommy, Quackity, and Niki all have to talk Wilbur down from pressing the button again on two different occasions. He insists it's Chekov's Gun. It has to be pressed.
As Pogtopia prepares for a final battle, they get an unexpected visitor. Fundy shows up, wanting to join Pogtopia officially. He hates how Schlatt treats him (worse than Wilbur was) and has since took careful notes on Schlatt and his health in his diary.
With Fundy joining Pogtopia, they realize that there is literally no one left on Schlatt's side. They could just walk right into the country and take it over, considering Schlatt's health is in such poor shape.
Their cheers are interrupted, however, by Dream as he says that Schlatt made a deal with him where Dream and his forces will defend Manburg the day that Pogtopia attacks. There is also a traitor in Pogtopia working with Dream, the person they'd least expect.
On that cheery note, they pick a date for the war: November 16th, 2020.
