Despite still recovering from war, Tommy can't help but cause chaos. He talks with Ranboo for a brief time, learning that he's rather soft and easy to push around when Ranboo gifts him an allium. He pressures Ranboo into breaking into George's house to steal from him and pull a few pranks by vandalizing his property. While goofing around, the house accidentally catches on fire. The fire spread too quickly, and became too large for Tommy to put out. He tried to put out as much as he could, but was ultimately unsuccessful. He fled the scene with Ranboo.
TommyGeorge logs on later that day because of a few panicked messages sent his way. He finds a few logs burnt, but most of his house survived the fire. There isn't a lot of damage, and he fixes the majority of it. All the while, Karl and Dream keep pestering him that he should get even with Tommy, that Tommy had no right to do that sort of thing, that he should be furious. George simply doesn't care.
The next day, L'manberg awakes to find that Dream has begun building obsidian walls around L'manberg, blaming Tommy for causing chaos by burning down George's house as well as a few other odds and ends pranks.
Tubbo is extremely concerned for his country and tries to talk Dream out of it, but Dream isn't having it. He says that if Tommy is going to continue to be associated with L'manberg by representing them in government, L'manberg must pay for his mistakes. Tubbo agrees to place Tommy on trial to help placate Dream.
