Season Two: The Last Straw

Of course, Dream does come to find Tommy's stash after he notices the space while digging a hole for Tommy to blow up his things. Dream becomes furious, demanding to know why Tommy has been collecting things in secret. Tommy doesn't have an answer.

Instead, Dream blows up the secret stash, destroying the Logstedshire camp above it, too. Dream goes on to place down more TNT and destroying other things along with it like his tent and a few other buildings Tommy has made.

Dream takes one last loop around the camp, destroying other smaller things before heading over to the nether portal. He tells Tommy that this was all because he was storing stuff away. If he hadn't done that, then he wouldn't have had his camp destroyed. Dream tells him he's going away for a while now, he doesn't know how long it'll be. But it will be a while. Dream heads through the nether portal, destroying it behind him.

Tommy climbs on top of a nearby hill and assesses the damage. Everything is destroyed except for the few things Tommy happened to have on him. Tommy still has the Your Tubbo compass. He still has a small photograph of him and Tubbo hanging out on the beach from a few months ago. But everything else is gone.

Tommy starts to build a pillar up into the sky and sits at the very top, contemplating taking his last life.

"Dream's right...I can't do this anymore. I'm just alone. My only friend, Dream, is gone."

"His last words to me were 'I'm coming every week to watch you.' Well, come and watch me. Come and watch me."

Tommy stands on the edge of the dirt tower and looks down at the wreckage below.

"Every week, he'd come and watch me. He was my friend. He'd come and watch me to make sure I was okay, because he was.. I was his friend. He was literally here to watch me."

Tommy realizes that Dream was never there to be his friend. He was only there to keep Tommy in line and watch over him. Dream was never his friend. Why should he listen to Dream? Tommy jumps down into a small pond below, the water safely breaking his fall.

He can't go back to L'manberg. But he doesn't have to stay here. He heads off into the woods to find a different place away from Dream.

Eventually, Tommy reaches a snowy biome and sees a house in the distance. It's Techno's house! He isn't home right now, but it's well-stocked with supplies and food. Tommy's sure Techno wouldn't mind giving him a few things. Tommy digs a hole in Techno's basement just big enough for a bed and a few chests of his own.

Some of the fandom interprets Tommy as part raccoon because of this.
