The Butcher Army is ready to put their plan into action. Today is the day that they hunt down Technoblade and bring him to justice.
They put on their uniforms and head over to Phil's house in L'manberg to see if he'll tell them where Techno's house is. Phil refuses to spill.
They rummage through Phil's things, destroying his stuff and breaking his windows, until they find the compas Techno gave Phil. They place Phil under house arrest for refusing to help, giving him a tracking anklet to wear. Ranboo does not partake in the destruction or altercation.
As the Butcher Army leaves, Phil warns Techno via chat that the Army is coming and he'd better prepare.
Techno begins to brew potions, noticing that some of his stuff is missing or misplaced but he can't figure out why.
The Butcher Army is on their way, following the compass that they stole.
Phil tries to sneak out to make sure Techno is alright. He puts the tracking anklet on an armor stand and wears a creeper mask as a disguise.
Techno is waiting for his potions to brew when he notices someone at the line of trees outside his clearing. It's Ghostbur!
As Ghostbur gets closer, he tells Techno that Dream had sent him far away and he was just now getting back since it kept raining, but it wasn't all for nothing as Ghostbur found a Friend! It's a blue sheep literally named Friend.
Artist currently unknownThe Butcher Army arrives at Techno's house, and Techno heads outside to tell them that he's changed. He's retired and won't be chasing people down. However, the Butcher Army doesn't care. They want reparations for Techno's crimes against them, and they attack. Ranboo does his best to stay out of the fighting. But even with three v. one, Techno is pushing them back and winning.
That is, until Quackity rides over on Techno's horse, Carl, threatening his life. Techno drops all of his weapons and armor, which Ranboo and Tubbo collect, before becoming hostage himself.
Phil is hanging back in the shadows of the treeline. Once the fight is over, he heads back to L'manberg before he gets caught breaking his house arrest.
Tubbo escorts Techno back to L'manberg while Quackity escorts Carl. The whole way back, Techno isn't too concerned about things, as he's cracking jokes and just going along with it.
However, when they get back to L'manberg, he finds that they have set up a stage in the middle of the town square.
On the stage is a cage made out of iron bars. There is a very tall pillar right next to it. At the very top of the pillar, sits an anvil stationed right above the cage.
Tubbo pushes Techno into the iron bar cage. That's when it hits Techno. This isn't a trial, this is an execution.
"Wow...You actually got him." - Phil, as he watches the execution from his balcony.
Tubbo stands behind a podium to begin a small speech about the wrongs that Techno did to their country. But before he can get too far into it, Punz jumps down out of nowhere and starts throwing snowballs and TNT.
In the confusion, Tubbo orders Quackity to pull the lever, releasing the anvil, and killing Techno.
Phil tries to shoot the anvil with an arrow to stop it from falling, but he misses.
The anvil lands directly on Techno, but instead of killing him, the cage disappears in a shower of gold and green sparks. Techno was holding his totem of undying and survived the execution.
He escapes the cage in the chaos and spots Dream walking away with his horse. He chases after him.
Quackity watches Techno leave the stage and decides he's going to follow him.
Techno follows Dream to the entrance of the sewers and into the Final Control Room. Dream gives Techno his horse back as well as points to a chest nearby with some decent loot inside, leaving without saying a word. Techno thanks Dream and begins to sort through the things he was given: excellent potions, some mediocre armor, and a pickaxe.
Quackity catches up to Techno, stopping him from leaving.
Techno doesn't want to fight. He just wants to head back to his peaceful house in the arctic and get back to building his farms. Quackity won't let him leave without a fight.
"How the hell did that anvil not kill you?"
"You really think that death can stop me?"
"You don't understand, Techno, what we're trying to build here. I'm building a country here, and what we need here is organization and power. I don't care how long it takes me or what I have to do, but I'm going to fucking kill you."
"I just have one question, Quackity. Do you think you're enough to kill me? Even unarmed with iron armor, are you enough to take me?"
They start fighting, Quackity with a diamond axe and full netherite armor, and Techno with his iron pickaxe and iron armor.
"I have a pickaxe, and I'll put it through your teeth!"
Techno wins the fight, killing Quackity. Quackity now has two lives left.
Techno escapes the sewers without any more hiccups. He makes it back to his house with his horse safe and sound. Except now, there's something different. There's someone else there. He finds Tommy running around his house collecting different things and making a mess.
He wants to know what Tommy's up to. Tommy tells him he's just going to be living with Techno for a little bit. That's not going to fly with Techno. But, after thinking it over, he realizes that he could use Tommy's help to get back at L'manberg. If Tommy is here, it means he's no longer part of L'manberg. Maybe he's angry, too, at what they've done. They can team up and finally destroy L'manberg once and for all.
But all Tommy wants is to get his discs back; he doesn't want L'manberg to be destroyed. Techno notices his hesitance on agree to be a team and says that all they're going to do together is get Techno's gear back and gather information on Tommy's discs. He lies by omission on the fact that his real goal is to destroy L'manberg. Under these conditions, Tommy agrees to team with Techno.
After the failed execution, Tubbo decides to visit Tommy in exile for the first time. He's nervous, as he knows that he hasn't stopped by and Tommy would definitely bring it up. But as he gets to Logstedshire, he instantly notices that there's pot holes and craters everywhere. This was no work of a simple creeper. Someone blew this place up with TNT. As he continues to explore, he finds the tall dirt pillar in the sky. Tubbo instantly assumes the worst, that Tommy blew up the camp himself and then ended his life. His character faints from shock.
