Dream is now in the prison. Sam is the warden and watches over him.
Tommy goes to visit him, and as he travels through the prison, a lot of the stuff that helps keep the prison secure forces Tommy to relive a lot of the traumas from his exile. The prison itself is a redstone marvel, with moving bits and warden's keys and specific code typed into books.
At the entrance, there's a Nether portal that brings Tommy to a sort of waiting room. He goes through again and now is inside the prison. The portal shatters behind him, locking him in the prison for now. Sam asks Tommy some questions about who he is and why he wants to visit Dream. Any jokes that Tommy tries to make are immediately shut down. Tommy gets a locker to put all of his stuff into and puts the keycard to it in his ender chest.
There are many checkpoints throughout the prison. Everyone constantly has weakness from elder guardians in the walls. Tommy has to be killed and strip searched to make sure he's not sneaking anything in. He goes through a wall of lava, swims through a long water corridor, and waits for Sam to retrieve his keycards for the system to work. There is a large room before the main cell that contains smaller cells. Thankfully, no one's inside them. Sam raises the floor and closes the security door behind them.
Eventually, Tommy reaches the main cell, an obsidian box completely surrounded by lava. However, before Tommy can enter, Sam has him sign two waivers: one that will allow Sam to hunt down and kill Tommy should Dream escape through Tommy's actions, and another one that should there be a security concern, Tommy may find himself locked in the prison until it gets resolved. Tommy signs them, a little apprehensive, but he wants to see Dream at his weakest.
Sam lowers the lava and sends a small bridge across with Tommy. Dream is excited and confused that Tommy's there to visit, and he tries to garner sympathy points from him. Tommy, however, refuses. He's just here to lay things to rest. But as Dream gets more worked up, Tommy's already on edge with getting into the cell in the first place and the confined space with Dream is making it worse. He asks Sam to send the bridge back across, and Dream continues to yell to Tommy until the lava comes back down.
Art by u/Casterseer on RedditRanboo is having more and more episodes where he blacks out and doesn't remember anything. As Ranboo goes back to the panic room, the voice, which sounds like Dream but is not Dream himself, claims that Ranboo can remember, he just doesn't want to.
Puffy and Fundy catch Ranboo in one of these states while he's blacked-out. He was picking up and placing random grass blocks, and when Puffy made eye contact with him, she couldn't move until Ranboo looked away.
Ranboo also discovers that he has enderman-like powers. He has silk touch hands that lets him pick up grass blocks without turning them into dirt. Technoblade immediatly tries to capitalize on it by asking him to pick up monster spawners and turns them into pig spawners.
Now that Ranboo can pick up grass blocks, he will often pick them up and hold them like an enderman would.
Sam and Quackity get the idea to create a new economy on the server. Quackity will create the business, and Sam will build the bank. They'd become the richest members on the SMP. Sam starts to plan out a bank.
As the egg reaches more and more the SMP, its power is steadily growing. Puffy breaks out of the egg's control and tries to avoid it all together. She also recognizes that Tommy serves as the server's scapegoat when he definitely doesn't need to be after what he went through during the disc war finale. Puffy makes a plan to protect him no matter what.
Bad, in the meantime, is even more under the egg's control. The red fabric on his skin is now bleached white like the way that the vines leech color from blocks around them.
Now that Tommy's tied up his loose ends with Dream, and he now has all of his discs once again, he can do whatever he wants to! And he's going to build a hotel! (And by build a hotel, make Sam build it for him and then take credit for it.)
Tommy writes up a contract for Sam to sign detailing his plan to take credit for the hotel once it's done, and loop Sam into being his bodyguard. Sam signs the contract out of pity. After Tommy heads out for the day, joyful that Sam would take such a lopsided deal, Sam also personally extends his contract to include Tubbo as well, still a bit shaken from the disc war finale.
Tommy shows up the next day at the hotel constuction site, but it's not Sam who greets him, but Sam Nook.
Sam Nook gives Tommy a set of protective construction gear and a list of resources to collect.

He teams up with Puffy to confront Bad, one of the only main villains a threat left on the server. Bad only laughs at them and kidnaps Sam to lock him in an obsidian room above the egg. Puffy and Tommy manage to break him out the next day, and Sam says that he hasn't turned to the egg, but he does say that the egg talked to him and forced him to eat himself.

Bad goes to visit Dream in prison. He acts wildly different than when Tommy went to visit. This must be Dream's true colors.
Bad tries to get Dream to open up about things, like how he's holding out in the cell, or what's going on with the egg outside, but all Dream wants to talk about is Tommy. What's Tommy doing? How does Bad feel about Tommy? How does Bad think Tommy feels about Dream?
The conversation doesn't really go anywhere, and Bad leaves confused and conflicted as to why his friend is acting like that.

Ranboo decides to visit Dream later the same day to "confront the voice in his head" despite the voice not being Dream himself.
As Ranboo travels through the prison, there are a number of different things different. Namely, Sam isn't taking the vist as seriously as he did with Tommy's and Bad's visits. Dream also acts extremely buddy-buddy with Ranboo despite the fact that their last interaction was Dream outing Ranboo as a traitor.
After talking for a bit, and Ranboo's suspicion rises, Dream makes a comment that he's not even real. Instantly, Dream disappears and the room starts spinning. The prison collapses around Ranboo as a Minecraft death screen appears.
Ranboo's stream cuts to black with his lore smile and "Fallen Down" from Undertale plays in the background. Morse code and other hidden messages flash on screen.
