Tommy's stream

April 29th, 2021

Tommy meets with Tubbo, Ranboo, and Ghostbur in the watchtower. Tubbo hands over the wither skulls while Ranboo hands over invisibility and fire resistance potions. Tommy hands the wither skulls back. There's been a change in plans. They're not going to explode the prison. Instead, they're going to sneak their way in. Ghostbur will ask Sam to visit Dream and then Tommy will follow behind them, invisible. That way, he can sneak in weapons and kill Dream when they get to his cell.

Ghostbur finds Friend outside the watchtower and decides to take them with. Tommy promises Tubbo that he will kill Dream. Tommy, Ghostbur, and Friend take off for the prison entrance.

Tommy drinks the invisibility potion and reminds Ghostbur to not tell Sam that he's there. Ghostbur hates it since he'd be lying, but Tommy tells him to change the conversation topic instead so he wouldn't lie.

Ghostbur lets Sam know that he's arrived, and the three enter the prison. However, Friend gets stuck between the portals, so they leave them behind for now. Ghosbur goes through the prison with Sam, following all of the protocols, with Tommy hiding somewhere nearby and drinking more potions when needed. There are a few points where he's almost found out, but he manages to make it Dream's cell undetected.

However, before Sam lowers the bars that separate Tommy and Dream, Tommy takes out his axe and swings at Dream. He misses, but Sam sees the axe floating in the air and commands Tommy to return on the retracting bridge. He forces Tommy to drink milk, revealing that it was in fact Tommy who snuck into the prison.

Sam is pissed. He takes away Tommy's axe and yells in his face that he should have killed Tommy for breaking into the prison. Tommy says that he technically didn't break any of the rules, as the contract just stated that he couldn't break out of the prison. There is also nothing saying that he couldn't kill Dream.

Dream yells out for Tommy, seeing him for the first time since he left after his revival. Sam silences him, and Tommy yells for Ghostbur to get away from Dream. But Dream's fast. He holds Ghostbur hostage before he can move away and threatens to revive Wilbur if Sam doesn't let him out right this second. Tommy tries to get Ghostbur to kill Dream. Ghostbur refuses, scared and shaking. Sam silences Tommy and forces him to stand along the wall.

Tommy demands Sam to get Ghostbur out of the prison cell and away from Dream. Sam refuses. He can't do that since Tommy would do something dangerous if he sent the bridge back over.

Ghostbur is distraught. He doesn't want to die. Tommy tries to comfort him, but Sam steamrolls over his attempts, asking Ghostbur if Tommy coerced him to visit the prison. Ghostbur never wanted to lie to Sam. He starts panicking.

Dream reveals a book in his hand. He's going to give Sam one last chance.

Tommy tries to calm Ghostbur down again with breathing and counting with him. It doesn't really work. Sam lowers the lava wall. As the lava falls, before leaving Tommy's view, Ghostbur dies at the hands of Dream.

A screenshot from Tommy's stream. Ghostbur is standing on the ledge outside of Dream's cell, killed and falling over. The lava covers the majority of the screen, but it hasn't fallen yet to cover the gruesome scene. A death message sits in the game chat, 'WilburSoot was slain by Dream'. Tommy's facecam is full of shock and horror.

Sam and Tommy argue as Sam escorts Tommy through the prison. Sam says that it's Tommy's fault for what happened, that he should kill Tommy for what he did. Tommy slings death threats right back at Sam.

Tommy is banned from coming to the prison ever again. In fact, he's banned from the land around the prison as well, and if Sam catches him anywhere near the prison, he's going to kill him.

Tommy takes Ghostbur's things from his locker, a lead and some blue dye, and grabs Friend on the way out. Ranboo and Tubbo are waiting outside the prison entrance playing chess. When they see Tommy come out without Ghostbur, they begin to ask questions. Tommy tells them that Wilbur may be revived. He doesn't want Wilbur back, especially after meeting with him in the afterlife. He thought Wilbur had changed. Clearly, he hadn't. If Wilbur is revived, he would be in the place where he died. L'manberg.

They head over to L'manberg, eyes peeled, before spotting a figure standing over Wilbur's ressurection shrine. Fuck. He's back. But he looks different. He's still wearing his Pogtopia coat but he's also wearing Ghostbur's yellow sweater underneath. His arm is wrapped in a bloody bandage, and there's a white streak in his hair.

Revivebur's skin. It's Wilbur's skin, but he is now wearing a long, dirty brown coat over a yellow sweater. Over the coat and sweater is a bloody bandage on his arm just above his elbow. He still wears black pants and sneakers. In his brown hair, there is a lock of white in the mix, sitting just above his eyes. A drawing of Revivebur. Wilbur spots the three approaching, confused on where he is. Tommy attempts to give him Ghostbur's things, even dropping him some blue, but Wilbur refuses it all. Tommy says that they're at what's left of L'manberg. Wilbur finally sees the crater for himself and thinks that he's the one that caused all that destruction, way back when he blew up L'manberg. Tommy doesn't correct him.

Wilbur greets Tubbo, commenting that his attire doesn't look very presidential. He also has no idea who Ranboo is.

But that doesn't matter. The sun starts rising on the scene below. He is absolutely loving moment, finally being alive after thirteen and a half years in limbo.

"Tommy, I've waited so fucking long. Tommy, I've been waiting for over a decade in mere darkness. This is my sunrise. This is my sunrise! This is my sunrise! This is mine! This is mine!" - Wilbur

Tommy once again tries to pass Friend off to Wilbur and hand over some blue, but Wilbur jumps away from them both. Wilbur asks Tommy if he remembers the day that he came to visit Wilbur in limbo. Tommy says that he hated that time. Wilbur says it was the best time of his life while he was in limbo.

Tommy asks if Wilbur knows Ghostbur. He nods but quickly changes the subject, asking what limbo was like for Tommy. When Tommy tells him it was like a black void, Wilbur laughs.

“I guess everyone has their own personal limbo. Tommy, I don’t know if you remember me telling you this. It was quite a few years ago for me now, but my personal limbo was a train platform, Tommy. It was a train platform. No matter where I looked, no matter where I went, just concrete walls, all around, and a tube with a track running straight along. It doesn’t matter what I did, Tommy. I could claw at the walls. I could bash on the doors. I could scream for help. I screamed until my lungs were sore! So, my voice was hoarse, and nothing ever changes. Nothing ever comes. Nothing ever helps you, Tommy."

“And then you arrived! You arrived! And it was great! And then you left! You got on a train, and you left. And Tommy, the last thing I saw was a train pulling in. And there were two people on that train. One man, a desaturated me, came rolling into town. Came rolling into my limbo! He’s in my limbo! He came rolling in. His face was steaming with tears! They looked like they were burning him? I don’t know... But you know who else was on that train? Who was conducting the train? Who let me out, Tommy? It was Dream. It was Dream! My hero! My fucking hero! Dream saved me from the hell! Tommy, I thought I wanted to die although that decade, that month ago-”

Wilbur is so incredibly happy to be alive, in disbelief that he ever wanted to be dead. He mentions that his memories from Ghostbur are coming back, that he knows who Ranboo is, that he used to live in a sewer, that-

Tommy interrupts him, saying that times have changed. That people have been scarred because of Wilbur. And Wilbur has the audacity to come back here-

Wilbur interrupts Tommy by asking if he's trying to make Wilbur feel like he did in Pogtopia. Because it's not going to work. Tommy grits his teeth and says that Wilbur was even worse. Wilbur doesn't care.

"I have this lease on life, and by god, if life's a fucking horse, I'm gonna ride it."

Wilbur leaves, saying that he has a lot of catching up to do.

The three stand there in shock, processing what just happened.

"What the hell did you do?" - Ranboo
