Tommy decides that he’s going to visit Dream one final time for closure. He’s made his hotel, he’s been healing, and he’s ready to finish this chapter with Dream. He gets to the front doors and goes through the prison like normal. Everything seems okay, nothing seems off. Sam and Tommy make small talk through the prison. Tommy insists that this will be the last time he visits Dream. He also thinks that Dream deserves to be locked up but not killed. Tommy signs the waivers and enters the main cell.

Dream is talking again, finished with his strike against Sam. He's pleased to see Tommy again; Tommy only shrugs him off, going through his things and mentioning that a lot of the books that Dream used to have were gone. But he does find Dream's written thank you's to both Bad and Sapnap. Dream tells him that Bad and Sapnap visited him and updated him on what was going on in the world, like the Egg.

Dream expresses that he wants the server to be one big happy family again, like how it was in the old days. Tommy coldly tells him he ruined his chance when he destroyed L'manberg. Dream backs up, insisting that he was trying to do good in the world.

The two fall silent, not reaching a common ground. Tommy realizes that even if he wants closure, Dream would never give him that, always pushing his buttons just as much as Tommy pushes his. But he's had his fill. He's satsified, and Dream can rot in the prison for the rest of his life for all he cares.

A screenshot from Tommy's stream. He's in the prison cell with Dream. A cauldron, a lectern with a book on it, and a chest sit behind Dream. Tommy's on half a heart, but he's laughing about something.

But just as Tommy is about to yell for Sam to send the bridge back across, the two hear TNT explosions going off in the distance. Sam's name disappears from the observation platform. Tommy yells for Sam to let him out. Dream only chuckles. Tommy yells again, starting to worry that he hasn't gotten a response from Sam yet. Dream laughs again, saying that yelling for Sam is useless. Since he was the one who contracted the prison, he knows what waivers Tommy had to sign to get in to visit him. And right now, it looks like someone was trying to break into the prison, meaning Tommy was stuck with him for the next seven days.

Tommy refuses to believe Dream and again shouts out for Sam. But it's useless. Sam's not answering. He's no where near by. Dream laughs again, saying that they can be together and share his supply of raw potatoes, just like in Tommy's exile. Tommy shakes his head and tells Dream to not mention exile ever again. The two start arguing, Tommy still yelling for Sam the whole time, before it escalates to the point that Tommy starts throwing all of Dream's books and his clock into the lava.

Sam finally messages Tommy via chat that there was indeed a security breach that needed to be investigated, and Tommy wasn't allowed to leave until it was resolved. Dream gloats that he was right as Tommy falls into dispair.

A drawing of Tommy sobbing, hands to his face. Tons of red strings are looped around his wrists, his neck, and his arms before leading into the obsidian darkness around him.Art by @late_august_ on Twitter
