Season Three: Sam & Ponk

While searching the server for mined lapis, Ponk visits Sam's base. In one of the chests, they find eleven of Sam's Warden keycards. They decide to take them.

Sam realizes that some of his keycards have been stolen and traces it back to Ponk. Sam manages to trap Ponk in a stone room and demands that he hand over the keycards. Dream could be let out with those. Ponk refuses, saying that he could've already sold them, and that Sam shouldn't trap him for it.

Ponk tries to explain that Sam is way too focused on the prison, and that Dream, at one point, had been his friend. Sam doesn't say anything, only flicks a lever and fills the room with lava to kill Ponk (noncannonically).

Ponk continues to try and reach Sam by saying that they don't care if they lose their stuff. Sam is still a good person to them. Sam again doesn't react and kills Ponk again with the lava (noncanonically).

Ponk says that Sam's changed. He may not be under the influence of the Egg, but he's definitely under some kind of influence. The influence of the Prison and being the Warden. Sam doesn't react and only asks for the keycards back. They're outdated and not functioning; they wouldn't open anything in the prison, but the principle still stands. Ponk again refuses to hand them over. Sam poisons Ponk.

As Ponk is taking poison damage, he hands over ten of the eleven keycards. Sam kills Ponk again (noncanonically).

Ponk, finally fed up with Sam's torture and now convinced that Sam won't listen to him, hands over the last keycard.

Sam takes out a pair of shears and tells Ponk that he needs the lesson to stick. Instead of taking one of Ponk's lives, he's going to be taking their arm.

Sam cuts off Ponk's left arm.
