Puffy, Niki, Eret, Fundy, Hbomb, Hannah, Foolish, and Sam meet on the Prime Path while Bad, Ant, and Ponk prepare below in the Egg Room. Everyone's dressed up except for Sam.

Captain Puffy's Banquet skin. She is wearing a dark red, off the shoulder dress with a giant slit up one leg. She wears sheer red gloves up to her elbows as well as sheer red tights and heels. Green leaves or jewels are interspersed on her dress. Her hair is split dyed with her right half a natural brown and her left half dyed white. Muted maroon flowers tie part of her hair up in space buns. Niki's Banquet skin. She is wearing a brighter dark red dress with a sheer purple tulle over it. Like Puffy, she wears her dress off-shoulder but Niki also has some support straps. Niki's dress also has a slit up one leg going up to her hip. Niki is also wearing a gold necklace, a golden bracelet, and a gold band around her thigh. She wears short black heels, and her blonde hair is cut short and is tied half-up half-down. Eret's Banquet skin. He is wearing his classic king crown and black sunglasses but has ditched his king regalia for a dark muted red dress jumper combo. Her outfit shows her shoulders, but her shoulders are covered by golden decor reminding everyone that she's the king, being held together by a golden chain necklace. The front of the outfit is a corset with a black lace, and the long sleeves are laced with a black ribbon. The bottom of the dress splits in the front revealing darker red pants underneath. His hair remains cut short. Fundy's Banquet skin. Fundy still wears his hat but has switched out his jacket and pants for a dark grey suit, red tie, and red pocket square. He also wears grey driving gloves and black and white tennis shoes. Hbomb's Banquet skin. Hbomb has swapped his usual lumberjack flannel for a more romantic-style suit, but he keeps his unshaven appearance. He wears a black suit jacket that shows a white button-up shirt that is unbuttoned and reveals his chest. He wears a rose on his lapel. He also wears dark brown loafers. Hannah's Banquet skin. She wears a light pink dress that is off the shoulder. The dress has a ruffle around the chest that splits into another sleeve on her arm. The skirt is a low-high skirt, high in the front showing off her pastel pink heels, and long in the back that it almost trails on the ground. Her hair is done the same as it usual is, but she wears a rose vine up her right arm that wraps into her hair. Foolish's Banquet skin. He wears a black suit sans the suit jacket. He has a black shiny vest over a white button-down and red tie. He wears a red pocket square or clip on the vest's lapel. He also wears a gold pocketwatch chain. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows. He also wears white shoes.
Bad's Banquet skin. His skin is still bleached from the Egg and stands out the most on his skin. He wears a grey perhaps pinstripe suit with muted brick-red pockets and cuff links. His tie is a pastel brick red overtop a white button-down shirt. He also wears classy black dress shoes. Ant's Banquet skin. His eyes are bright saturated red, easily the brightest thing on his skin. He wears a dark red suit with dark red shoes over a pink undershirt. Ponk's Banquet skin. Ponk's eyes are red, and he keeps his red and yellow ski mask pulled over his face. They wear a red sweater vest over a white button-down shirt and a dark red tie tucked into their vest. Their left arm is cut off at the elbow, and the sleeve is tied in a knot as to not show it. He also wears black dress pants and red tennis shoes.

The only noticeable addition is a red sash around his waist.Art by @ileyank on twitter A drawing of Eret, Hannah, Puffy, and Niki in their Red Banquet attire, showing better details on how they would look in the real world. Eret is stylized as a bit more feminine, wearing her outfit with deep cleavage and a tiara instead of a crown. He is also not wearing his sunglasses but does hold a black cane. On Hannah's dress, roses line the edges of her skirt. Puffy's dress has golden trim as well as a red laurel wreath wrapping around her hips and a choker around her neck. She also holds a glass of red wine. Niki wears a sheer red wrap draped around her arms as well as a bold statement necklace made of gold and ruby. After meeting and complimenting each other, the guests head down to the newly-decorated Egg Room. All of their belongings get put into the coat room, and then they're escorted down to the main room. Guests listen to the music and dance on the dance floor as Bad strikes up one-on-one conversations with everyone. George manages to make it, albiet a bit late and certainly not dressed up, but Bad welcomes him anyways. The more the merrier.

Now that all of the guests have arrived, Bad invites them over to the table to start the Banquet. Some guests give speeches, talking about how they're glad to finally put this era behind them and to hopefully co-exist peacefully.

Ponk gives a speech quoting Dream's then most recent-released song about how people change, and he now believes it. He drops a ghast tear to Sam and ends his speech. While everyone cheers to the rather awkward toast, Sam can't stop staring at Ponk. He whispers, "You look so beautiful right now."

Once everyone's done with their speeches, Bad gives the final toast. This is an event that no one will forget. Lava starts to cascade down the walls, trapping everyone in the Egg Room. He concludes the speech by saying, "Thank you all for coming.... Prepare to die."

The guests all freak out, realizing that they're trapped by the lava. But Puffy remains calm, stepping forward. She's disappointed, but she expected a trap. She prepared for this and reaches for the armor and weapons hidden in the table. However, when she opens the chest, she finds it empty!

Hannah steps to the Eggpire's end of the table as they put on the stashed armor. Hannah was with the Egg all along! She thanks Puffy for the extra armor and weapons, laughing.

Sam says he has a backup plan and hits a button. A stack of TNT rains down from the ceiling directly on the Egg and explodes. The Egg remains untouched. Bad laughs and says that they took proper precautions after Quackity's attempts.

The Banquet was just a means to get a bunch of people in front of the Egg. It requires sacrifices in order to hatch, and there could not be a better time.

As Bad is announcing his plan, there is a figure in the rafters, inching ever closer. On closer inspection, it looks like Ranboo under hood and cloak, but no one mentions or manages to catch sight of him again.

Ranboo's Banquet skin. They wear their normal skin, but now there is a purple-black cloak over their shoulders with the hood pulled up over their head. He wears a dirty white cloth as a blindfold under the hood. A drawing of Ranboo in the rafters of the Egg Room. He wears black combat armor and a black cloak with the hood pulled up. His eyes are covered by a white blindfold. Purple dots float around him like around Endermen. He sits high up in the Egg Room rafters, clutching an axe in his left hand. We cannot see anyone or anything below him.Art by @sigerson6534 on twitter

Eret steps forward, saying that the Eggpire are monsters, that they betrayed everyone. Bad points out the hypocrisy of the statement. Eret regrets that betrayal, as the Eggpire should now.

Hannah leads Eret over to the Egg to be sacrificed. But before Bad can execute Eret, Foolish steps forward and asks if the Egg can withstand lightning. He tries to use his lightning powers, but they aren't working. They're suppressed because of the Egg. To add salt to the wound, Bad asks Foolish to take Eret's place as the first sacrifice.

Foolish trades places with Eret and is pushed onto his knees in front of the Egg. He is slain by Ant, losing a canon life.

A comic of Foolish's sacrifice. The first panel is a close up of Eret's blank white eyes, peaking over their sunglasses. They say, 'I wish I could help, Foolish.' The second panel is a close up of Foolish's smiling mouth, showing off his shark teeth. He says, 'There's nothing I can do--'. The third panel is of Foolish, smiling bittersweetly, awaiting death. He says, 'It's okay, Eret.'Art by @belovedgamers on tumblr

As the Eggpire ready for another sacrifice, Quackity bursts through a brick wall to the surprise of everyone. He gives a speech about how Bad needs to re-evaluate what he was doing, that he shouldn't let him get manipulated like that by the Egg, all the while stealthily dropping an axe to Puffy.

Bad tries to call Quackity's bluff. Only the Egg can give Bad what he wants while no one else could, and that Quackity is very much outnumbered. Quackity, without missing a beat, says he didn't come alone. From the gap in the wall emerges Technoblade, Techno's hound army, and Purpled.

Purpled's Banquet skin. He wears a purple suit with golden buttons and cuff links over a white button-down shirt and black tie. He also wears black dress shoes. A drawing of Techno, Quackity, and Purpled bursting through the wall into the Egg Room. Techno stands there, looking annoyed at Quackity. Quackity is on Techno's back with his legs wrapped around Techno's waist, gloating and holding up an L on his right hand. Purpled, in his purple suit, holds an armful of red mushrooms and looks done with both of them.Art by @hoolyelina on twitter

Bad's shocked; Purpled's a traitor.

"Frankly, Bad, Quackity had the better price." - Purpled

Bad's also shocked that Techno would ever side with Quackity, given their history, but Techno says that the Eggpire is a threat that needs to be stopped, and he was willing to work with his enemies to make it happen.

Bad tries to call their bluff again, saying that they're sill outnumbered four to three.

"Not for long! You're dead, Antfrost!" - Puffy

This is a drawing of Puffy pulling back to swing at Ant. It's just her and the background is drawn as an anger-impact comic panel with red lightning. Puffy winds up to swing the axe, her face literally dark and silhouetted save for her crazed eyes.Art by @tellescorarts on tumblr

Puffy murders Ant with the axe she got from Quackity, taking a canon life. This spurs on the fight between the remaining three Eggpire members and the others, but soon Quackity, Techno, and Purpled overpower them. Bad calls for a retreat, and he, Hannah, and Ponk run to the surface and scatter. As Bad runs away, he reflects on how the Egg might actually be in the wrong, but he just wants what the Egg promised him.

Quackity, Techno, and Sam stay behind to discuss what to do with the Egg while Purpled leads the other guests to the surface and safety. Sam says that he wants to contain the Egg, maybe even moving it to the prison. But they don't know much about it, so that might prove to be a bad idea.

Puffy goes off to find Foolish, lamenting that her son died, as well as having to kill one of her friends.

Eret wants to build a memorial for Foolish to commemorate his sacrifice for them.

Ranboo has no recollection of ever being at the Banquet, and his memory book is missing when he streams later in the day.
