Fundy's Mind - Fundy's stream

March 30, 2021

Fundy starts the stream in his base and asks the others on the server, Niki and Ranboo, to sleep. They all do, and the server transitions to daytime.

Fundy wakes up and opens the door to find that the server outside has been replaced with desert. Disbelieving, he follows a path through the sand to find the L'manberg caravan. He can see Wilbur's name as well as his own inside, but when Fundy tries the door, it's locked.

Moving on, he continues down the path and finds a small shack consisting soley of stairs leading deep underground to a cave. At the bottom, it's a bit spooky. There's a decorated table with a book on it, and chains hanging off the walls and ceiling. Fundy cautiously picks up the book.

It's a letter addressed to Fundy, but the author is unknown. They tell him that the world outside is not real, that Fundy isn't real. Eventually, the letter tells Fundy that he has to wake up, repeating the message urgently as a heartbeat grows loud in Fundy's ears.

Fundy wakes back up in his bed back at his base. Confused, he opens his door again to find that he's back in the desert. He follows the path again and finds the L'manberg camaravan again. This time, though, it's just his nametag in the van. The door is still locked.

He continues down the path, finding the shack much closer than last time. He heads down the stairs to find the room less ornate than last time. There is now a skull on the table in place of the carpets, joining the book. Fundy picks up the book.

It appears that Fundy himself has written this letter. It welcomes him back but mentions that they're unsure if this is his second or third time Fundy has visited. The book then gives him an ultimatum: he can either wake up or continue reading to find out what's going on.

Fundy continues to read, and the book repeats the lines "You are not real" and "You do not want to know the truth" before repeating "WAKE UP" down the length of a page. The heartbeat swells in Fundy's ears again, and Fundy wakes back up at his base.

Fundy is distraught. This has to be some elaborate prank. He opens the door to find the desert's still there, and the shack is much, much closer, replacing the L'manberg camaravan completely.

He debates waiting until nightfall to sleep and end this nightmare, but curiousity gets the best of him. He heads over to the shack but doesn't walk inside, instead, walking past it. There is a void slowly opening up behind the shack, slowly eating away at the landscape. Fundy quickly backtracks and enters the shack.

This time, there isn't even a table present. There are more skulls and blood decorating the floor.

The letter asks why Fundy's so persistent and keeps coming back. It says that Fundy shouldn't want to know the truth since it will hurt him. It begs Fundy to put the book down and go to sleep before repeating "WAKE UP" again with the heartbeat. But it abruptly stops. Fundy is still in the basement, awake.

He turns to the next page. The book mentions that Fundy's mind isn't safe, that the things around him aren't real, but "he" is.

The book warns Fundy to never join him, even if his deals sound sweet. To not follow him, as he will destroy Fundy.

Fundy doesn't find anymore writing in the book and turns to leave. But there's a new book dropped on the ground behind him at the foot of the stairs. That wasn't there before.

He picks it up. It's a diary written by Fundy with March 30, 2021 written at the top. Fundy had written that he suffered from a form of insomnia within his own dreams and that his dreams can predict the future. There are drawbacks, however...

Fundy stops reading and leaves the shack, finally finding it to be nighttime. He heads back to the base to sleep and debates throwing the diary out. He can just fall asleep and return to a normal life.

But he's too curious about what's going on, and soon flips the book open again. He reads that while his dreams may come true, his nightmares will as well. Be careful. This is his last warning.

Fundy wakes up in his bed again. Thinking he's still stuck in his dreams, he opens the door expecting the desert again only to be met with a black-cloaked figure with the hood drawn over its head. They do stand in the desert, but with their back to Fundy and the base, Fundy can't help but feel like he's in much more danger than before. The figure slowly turns around and sprints for Fundy's base. Startled, Fundy runs up the base's stairs up to the roof, the figure just steps behind. The heartbeat grows loud in Fundy's ears again.

At the top of the base, there's a lone bed on the roof. Fundy hops inside and tries to close his eyes as he can see the figure approaching. The screen fades to black as finally, Fundy falls asleep, but not before showing an ominous smiling face that looks quite a lot like Quackity's with the sound of poker chips falling and other casino noises in the background.

A screenshot from Fundy's stream. It shows the black-cloaked figure standing in the desert. We cannot see the nametag nor face. A screenshot from Fundy's stream. It shows the ominous smile at the end of Fundy's stream. It almost looks like the Ranboo-Dream smile, but this one is shaped to look more like Quackity's signature smile.
